I currently live in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area while working remotely for this Dallas-based company in a heavily-regulated industry. I was part of the initial creation of the internal marketing department. Recently, I developed the brand voice for the entire company. The tone I created is used across all communications and resulted in an immediate impact.


Accomplishments:

• Grew total filers for the first time in more than seven years

• Grew total brand awareness by 10%

• Best increased retention rates in the history of TaxAct

Creative Director

Publicis Hawkeye (August 2012 – May 2020)  Indianapolis, Indiana

I was hired as a Creative Director of Publicis Indianapolis and eventually became the head
creative officer. In 2017, Publicis closed the Indianapolis office and reassigned me to the
Dallas office. There, I telecommuted, worked remotely, and virtually managed a team of 10 as
a Group Creative Director on the Fiat Chrysler CRM account.

Accomplishments:
• Launched the Jeep Gladiator with a promotional campaign that sold out all 4190 Special
Editions in one week.
• Became the head creative officer of Publicis Indianapolis.
• Managed team that led TriHealth to become the number one hospital system in a highly
competitive market.
• Led the team on new business wins for PLTW, Aqua Systems, National FFA, and TriHealth.
• In the second year of the campaign, was able to equal amount of donations to Gleaners Food Bank with a budget that was 25% less than the previous year.

Senior Copywriter

FCB Global (March 2000 – August 2012)  Chicago, Illinois

In a little over 12 years, I learned, grew, and created some impactful ideas. Over that time, I produced a lot of broadcast, and I touched a wide variety of mediums. I was fortunate to work on a broad range of brands, from health insurance to cleaning products to beer. In the end, I was acting as the ACD on Cox Communications.

Accomplishments:
• Created lead campaign for Cox Communications.
• Came up with a campaign that relaunched Coors Light Pint.
• Created a radio campaign that Coors Light client declared “was the best radio he had ever heard.”
• While working on Coors Light, the brand became the number two beer behind Bud Light.
• Was part of the team that won the Miller Lite account.
• Developed creative announcing Coors Light’s sponsorship of NASCAR.
• Led creative on Glade and Pledge that saw year-over-year sales growth.
• Was part of the team that won the Dow account.
• Led creative on Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida that delivered annual sales growth.
After I moved on from the account, they switched campaigns and their sales declined.
• Won the Tempo Awards Grand Prize for HellerFinancial direct mail piece.
